IIRC Abilene is about 3 hours from Dallas. MW is about 90 mins (even Dallas folks drive more than 1 hour) from Dallas towards Abilene. So you should be able to make it from Abilene to Mineral Wells (west of Weatherford) in under 2 hours.

Depends on the club ER this weekend will get 4 class runs and if you pay another $10 (I think it's 10) you get 2 pax runs. The top cars in the pax will get a little money.

S2K club 8 runs.
BMW club 8 runs.
PCA club 8 runs.
SCCA 4-5 runs.

SCCA and ER has the best competition.

It looks like it is about the same distance from Abilene as it is from McKinney where I live.

I plan to go to the ER event Sat. and Sun.

BMW will have an event their Nov. 15. I won't make that one. I have already used my 1 event per year non-member pass.

Not every event, but they all have some events there.

Sorry, don't know of any autox our closer to you. However, Google maps shows it's a 122 mile, 2hr drive from Abilene to Mineral Wells... granted that's a fair bit, but not much different from the 90 mile, 1.5 hour drive many of us east and north of Dallas do. We even have people come up from Austin sometimes (200 miles, 3 hours.)

So if you don't mind getting up a little early, come on out and say hi.

Is this still in effect? I don't know what kind of membership I have with BMW, but I've attended like 5 events already and no one has said anything.

Currently, all of the local AX group end their season in Novemeber. BMW starts again in February and the rest start coming online in March. I am usually jonsing pretty hard by January.
