Todd, does this mean that things with the family/job are calming down and you have some more time for shop work?
Anyway, for what it's worth, the official Honda maintenance schedule (both normal and severe) says first valve adjustment is at 105k miles. Spark plugs are supossed to be replaced at the same time.

Part # is PFR7G-11S and you can pick up at any Honda dealer...well, almost any, for around $90(i get mine for $72). Or you can try your luck at some auto parts for cheaper price.

Yeah, the OEM plugs are platinum. That's why they're so expensive, and also why the maintenance schedule says 105K. You can get coppers for about 1/5 the price, but you'll need to replace them 5 times as often (prolly every 20K miles or so).
I don't know the copper-equivalent part number, but you can probably find it on NGK's web site.

For those who asked, yes, appt only.. send me a PM.
Regarding the comments on interval... Honda used to spec a 15k mi interval IIRC and then went to 30k, then 60k, then 90k, now 105k on most vehicles. I don't think anything has changed other than Honda's desire to extend maintenance intervals as a selling tool. I always thought 15k was a little much but I think 30k-60k is reasonable for a car driven hard. I have also found that the first 30-60k sees the most change, not to mention they are usually just off from the factory by a few thou.
Regarding spark plugs... just take the "P" off the p/n for NGK copper plugs. They are generally $2 at any auto parts store and are in stock. If not, ZFR6F11's are usually in stock (older Honda plugs). The electrode design protrudes a little more IIRC but they run great in the S. It's what I ran when I had mine & I think Corey may still be running them.
Change coppers every 10k-15k miles unless you drive like a granny. Even then go no more than 30k on them. Platinums and Iridiums last longer, but for the cost, it's a lot cheaper to just replace coppers more often. FWIW, platinums and iridiums only last 60k (again, unless you drive like a granny), I don't care what ANYONE else says. Follow the "extreme" maintenence schedule unless you drive like granny or your car is a lease (and you don't care).

Good thing about Hand-A and other honda discount parts is the price is cheap...but you'll have to wait. Unlike like the local honda dealers whereas you can just walk in there and say...I WANT THIS AND I WANT IT NOW!!!......Oh-yeah, you will get your shit right now but you will have to pay the price for it.
