Allen Speed Trap
Attention: Allen police have been setting up their speed trap around 75N and Exchange Pkwy on Saturday mornings. They'll have a guy up on the overpass with the RADAR and about a half a dozen patrol cars to MINE THE FREEWAY. 
Anyone heading to the big meet next weekend might want to watch for this.

I was under the impression that the cop pulling you over is supposed to be the one who nailed you by radar. If you were to ask the cop to show his radar reading [can you do this btw??], he wouldn't be able to do so, or would he?
As for asking a cop to see his radar, I've heard both sides to this. Is the cop supposed to show you this when asked? Or is this BS and the cop doesn't have to do anything?

Even if it wasn't it is a great way to piss 'em off & therefore not the best idea

Yeah I asked to see a Highway Patrol's radar and he got very mad, he finally showed it to me and when I asked how would I know it was me and not the last person he stopped he got madder yet.
The only reason I asked is that we had 5 people in the van and we all looked at the speedo when we saw the cop and it was about 10 below what he had on his radar gun.
The attorney told me he was supposed to show it and there was also a date/time stamp he should have showed me.
