Thumbs up Alignment deals

Anyone know what our current "alignment special" with Autoscope is? The "Membership Benefits" section say we get 10% off Labor, but I was thinking we had a special deal for alignments.

Other than Autoscope does anyone have any recommendations for a good place to get a custom alignment? I'm in the NE Plano/Allen area, so I'd prefer something close to that.

Thanks!

My last alignment was performed by The Auto Shop at the SE corner of Plano Pkwy and Jupiter. I don't remember what they charged, but it has been the best / longest lasting alignment for me yet.

BTW, when I told them about NTS2K, they seemed to give my car extra attention in hopes that I would refer them to the club.

Did you use them after you had the JICs? Did they do custom specs? Did they allow you to sit in the car during alignment?

I did use them after the JICs. They had to setup some boards or something, so I could slowly drive it up onto the rack while 3 of them monitored my clearance. It just barely went on there.

They did the alignment to my specs, but I didn't ask to sit in the car.

The best bang for the buck is a lifetime alignment at the Firestone on the corner of Jupiter and Campbell road in Richardson.

For $125 you get as many alignments as you want.

James has done my car for over 2 years to my specs - any specs I want to try out no matter how crazy and he'll redo the next week if I don't like them! He is knowledgeable and has made several good recommendations. He always hits my specs on the money with very little variance.

He'll even let you sit in the car while it's being aligned. By doing that I have found that the driver's side gains .2 degree camber so now I simply give him specs .2 degree less for the driver's side and once I am in the car the alignment is perfectly balanced.

Seems like I went to the wrong "The Auto Shop". I went to the one at Plano Pkwy & Coit... not Plano Pkwy & Jupiter. Boy, was that a mistake.

to The Auto Shop at Plano Pkwy & Coit. See thread here:

By the way... why didn't marcucci and altiain find this when they were doing tech inspection at the last autocross?
