I hear that a legislation was passed late last year and that new Insurance coverage will depend on how many miles you drive, in other words, Insurance firms will be checking odometers to determine that.. I really think it sucks, any opinion or has anyone heard more on this?

From what I have heard, a new type of insurance will soon be available based on milage instead of time. (i.e. you by 10,000 miles and renew before you run out)

I have not heard that all insurance will be changed, just a new way of selling it.

I'm happy as long as its a *NEW* kind of insurance. If I have to pay by mileage, I'll be broke real quick since I drive about 35k mile per year.
