CRAP! I missed this one as well!!
I really hope that next time we get some advance warning of this track event. Even at $60 for the day, it still beats the hell out of a DE in price. How much track time do you guys estimate you got total for the day? Also, I assume the insurance doesn't cover anything if anything should happend (on the other hand, it's not timed so it might). Also, how dangerous is the track compared to, say, TWS?
If the track is not too expensive to rent for a day, maybe we can organize an "S2000 only" event. That would rock.
Zoran.

We had more time than we could use during the day. You have to stop once in a while to cool the brakes and rest your body. It's a short track, 0.7 miles - 52 seconds and as I said you only shift up to third in the back straight. The track costs $800 for a day on the weekend so we could do an S2000 day if we get enough folks. You can have 5-8 cars on the track at a time and you probably don't want to run longer than 10-15 minutes at a time. That's 12 to 17 laps each time out. If we had 20 cars, you could get 1 time out every 45-60 minutes. That's a lot of racing in a day!
