You can definitely score some good mexican food in Houston. Watch out in LA as well, those cops are way worse than TX law in my experience. You guys should make a night of it at Dave & Busters...can't beat video games and beer.
I just drove from Beaumont TX to Goldsboro NC this weekend: no cops till Texarkana, no cops at all in Arkansas, got busted in Nashville with laser (and my lazy ass didn't insatall my laser jammer yet) but got off with a warning, and i saw a handfull of troopers in NC but none were shooting. I-40 thru TN is a great stretch of road. And as a bonus you can hit the dragon on the way back.

The trip home is going to be much shorter. I am taking my time getting to Tx and staying there a while. I am homesick and need to get some real mexican food and BBQ!
