I can't wait till one of these pathetic pieces of shit gets his face blown off by the guy who catches him in the act. Got to love Texas! Meanwhile guys do the following:

1. Seat locks from Kodokan

2. Metric Carraige bolts for the rear of each rail and tack weld to bottom of chassis

3. Engrave your VIN in at least 4 locations on each seat. Add an identifying mark (emboss) to the leather service.

4. This is the most important thing - DOCUMENT WITH PHOTOGRAPHS! ALL suggestions above. If you go to the Police with this type of evidence they are much more apt to investigate.

This way if you have documented your specific locations and those areas are altered on the seats .... you have your thief. What follows I will leave to your more than capable imagination.

Seems like alot of risk and hassle to jack a pair of seats that will only sell for $200.

I would have to try real hard not to blow a thief away if I caught them in my car. Pretty much god would have to step in and jam the gun for him to walk away

Luckily for Texas, even if the car is parked in the parking lot in your apartment complex, you still have the right to shoot his ass and you are not obligated to "flee" IE stand your ground and shoot the ****er.

That is exactly what I am saying when I mention emboss an identifying mark on the leather portion someplace. But please remember guys you have got to document whatever precautions you take with photographs or you will not get much help from the Police. By giving them possible evidence you give them permission to ask questions.
