8/29/02 - Update:

It turns out that it was my inner driver side cv joint. It has some pits in it. Here is a report with pictures:

6/10/02 - Original thread:

Remember how I had to quit a day early at the John Eagle TWS?

I was complaining that during a hard curve to the right...I was getting a thumping vibration?

Thanks to this board...I can narrow the problem down to damage on one of the cv joints.
Persons on the board say it's most likely the inner cv joint on the driver side.

I will see in the next few weeks if John Eagle Honda can help.

Dale,

I dropped my car off at JEH the week directly after the TWS...and they could not duplicate the problem.
They really couldn't start ripping stuff apart on my word.

Maybe I'll take one of their service persons for a spin? I need an aggressive right curve to show them. The vibration can be felt slightly during acceleration.

How did you duplicate the vibration to them?

Mine is not at the vibration point yet. It is simply clicking when you accelerate from a dead stop. Apparently the clicking is the on set of the vibration, or it could be the spline's. In anycase it needs to be fixed.

Ill keep you aware of what the outcome is. It may be that the splines just need some grease. We will see.

Cool man.

Did anyone look at your axle or did you just drop it off?
