Ok, Carmen and I are seriously considering going to Las Vegas from either

1.) Thursday, August 14th
or
2.) Friday, August 15th

to Sunday, August 17th.

Yes, this is relatively short notice. I am guaging any interest in people going. John has said he would be down to go if we can keep the airfare to around 2 bills. This means we need free sleeping quarters.

Carmen has some family that have housing out there, so we might have a free place to sleep. BUT, if someone like Matt or Shaun can make it, seems as though we could have free rooms at the MGM.

Oh yeah, Q, forgot to add, if you can find cheap airfare, that would be TIGHT. Bring the wifey mang, this is a couple-friendly trip.

yeah, that's what i was finding too. but if we can get free room or place to stay, we are lookin at still, about 269 or so for flights.

well, once i figure out our sleeping arrangements, then I can give you an answer. I don't even know if we are going for sure. I can't get a hold of the fiance, she must have meetings all day today. i will try to find out asap. I know whether we go or not is up to me, but I want to know if we have free rooms or not.

Just talked to carmen, here's the deal. we do have a place about 20 mins from the strip. I, myself, plan on spending most of the time on the strip inside the casinos. So IF we go, we are looking at 269+ for airfare alone. That maybe too much for most. Honestly, it's a bit steep for me for a flight to vegas.

SO...if there are enough people willing to go, let's do it. If not, then we will plan for another, more affordable date.
