no, it doesnt need it these are aircraft grade plastic windows. they dont fog up like glass. if you are moving, these dont fog. besides, you live in texas right? there should be no need for a defroster.

thanks!! we also have an original for sale for all the anti replica part people out there. I have purchased plenty of "real" parts, but the replicas we made from them usually ended up fitting better lol
