so the rumor is... HPD is being sued for some $100Mil and the ACLU is involved.
Anyone know more details? Just interested since I've had many very bad dealings with the HPD in the past.

There was a segment on Fox news last night about this. Apparently now the chief is being investigated by a grand jury for perjury in his statement during the investigation and, get this, Aguirre is testifying against him!

LOL! that was the funniest thing i've seen and heard of!
anyways, houston cops are shady as hell. one of my friends got hit by a cop from behind one time, but the cop never got a ticket. his dad calls in and asks, "if the roles were reversed, would my son get a ticket?" cops had no comment.
also, there's one damned cop around my neighborhood who writes at least 20 traffic tickets a day! i deliver pizzas for parttime and even radar detectors cannot stop this guy, as he's pulled me over twice already with his instant radar crap(i've got the passport 8500).
