Tentative Practice Drift Session for June 22
Ok the Practice Drift Session is June 22 2003
Location Gulf Greyhound Park
Helmet is not required but it is highly recomended.
Next session helmets will be required.
Fee for drivers is $20.00
There will be a 50 driver limit so register soon!!
We will be promoting the session @ HIN
Drivers will get an extra pass for a friend to help on car.
They will not be allowed to run unless they pay $20.00
There will be a $2 charge for spectators. This is not a show event.
The session is geared to getting drivers seat time. Please be carefull as all the safety precautions for the main event will not be established for spectators at this event.

Thanks!! no problem I don't think there's a whole lot that will be experienced at the event.
It will probably start @ 10am, but drivers will probably have to be there by 9am for a drivers meeting.
We're working on the details right now.

I also got some of my friends to sign up since you said it is not only for S2000 owners. Some of the cars that will be there are Jetta GTI, Audi TT, and BMW 545. It should be interesting to see how the different cars handle drifting.

It is possible because I have seen footage. The main thing is to keep the speed up, from there you can "surf" around the corners.
You are right though, the best drifting is definitly from RWD cars.
