Default Offset help

originally ordered wheels but they were wrong style so sent them back and am on hold on ordering, was about to order some new wheels debating on sizes... here is what i was thinking

1.) 18x8+40 all way around

2. 18x8+40 F, 18x9.5+40 R

did some reading and looks like ill have rubbing issues with lowering the car reguardless of option, i thought id get some input, cuz i have no clue when it comes to offsets & sizes ... Appreciate the help fella's...

want something pratical for daily driving...

With those offsets, they will rubb regaurdless in the rear. The stock offset is in the 50s IIRC. I have a set of 18x9.5 with an offset of 63. With a 285 on it, it does not rub.

As I recall, your intention is more show? If stance and fitment and the hellaflush look is what you desire, you're talking wide wheels, even lower offset than what you listed and stretched skinny tires. Daily without rubbing? but you'll breaknecks.
