I have a guy that used to be a judge. He's old but he's awesome. He only charges me about 100 bucks per offense and has gotten me dismissed on all charges. He's also worked in small little towns.

I got a ticket last week, 53 in a 35. I'm just gonna take defensive driving for it. I've been using cruise control a lot lately to maintain the speed limit, gets boring after driving so slow for a while

Coop, the small town guys will usually give you "postponement of adjudication" (I think is the term). It costs you more up front, but it does not go on your record. After two months the record diappears completely if you don't have any more violations in his county. But I'm sure you know about that. If not, make sure you ask him/her about it. Only thing, it doesn't come in if you got caught in a work zone. And you can do it all on the phone.
