Nice Restaraunt in Houston?
Me and my girlfriends 3 year anniversary is this weekend. We are looking for a nice restaraunt to eat at in houston. We have reservations at Tony's on post oak blvd. but I did not realize that it is on the west side of houston. I am coming from the other side of Beaumont and we would rather not drive all the way across houston just to eat and come back. I was hoping someone would know a good place more on the east side and it would be even better if it was pretty close to I-10. I dont know houston that well at all and the last thing I want to do is get pissed off and get in an argument because we are lost on our "special" night. haha.
The place needs to be kind of fancy, price does not matter, probably a place that you need to wear a tie or something along those lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot,

If you like meat, try FoGo de Chao at 8250 Westheimer. It is spendy, but it is pretty unique. It is a five-star place, and their salad bar is outstanding. After your salad, you are inundated by waiters carrying skewers of meat - beef, chicken, pork, lamb....cooked many different ways. They will keep filling your plate until you turn a coaster over showing red - then they stop until you turn the coaster over again to the green side. The service is very active - you'll never have an empty water glass, ever. Just a though for a rather unique dining experience. Did I say the food is outstanding?
