DONT RACE ON 45
enjoy the top down while the weather is simi-nice right now. You can still get a hard top to go over the convertible top.
Keep good tires on it
Change oil regularly (i do mine every 4000)
Use 93 octane gas. (I swear it helps)
Buy a lowjack (or another form of theft recovery)
Always ask if you're unsure for a mod, save yourself trouble. We're all friendly and we'll all help with what we can
Enjoy your race car and keep and eye out for the rest of us.
The seat locks are also a good idea but if they really want your seats... they'll get them or rip them if they cant get them out.
Know what visible in your car. Dont leave a GPS in your dash. or cellphone, ipad, stuff like that.
Enjoying it around H town.
Autocross events happen almost every month. a fun place to race and LEGAL. 100% LEGAL
MSR race for charity, or The Drivers Edge events for circuit racing stuff.
I have yet to find a fun back road to drive on in houston though. not as many as austin has.

Thanks guys! Meets or anything at C&C? And I'm getting ready to change the fluids just to be safe. And I already know racing on 45 would be a bad idea. I hardly like driving on it normally. Best way to get good city gas mileage? I'm getting like 20

I find that the best gas mileage is when I shift at 3k.

Yeah. My old car, an 01 A4 got about the same mileage, but at lower cruising RPM. Not used to such a high strung engine yet. Also, where do you guys buy your fluids and stuff?

I usually just buy my oil and filter at walmart. Some of the other stuff can be bought at your local auto parts store. Depends on brand of fluids you are looking for which may be only online.
