Im possibly headed to San Antonio tuesday or wednesday of next week to pick up a hardtop.

Only issue is the only way for me to bring it back is by installing it on my s2k there.

After reviewing over the diy im sure i could do it but would really like someone with experience to come with me to help me with the install. Would hate to install the roof wrong for the drive home.

Im willing to pick you up and buy you lunch, all i ask for is your time.

If I wasnt recently married I would lend a helping hand. There is a how to manual floating on the internet, and its really not that hard to follow. Just relax and take your time. Otherwise you could break a clip like I did.. lol. PM me if you cant find that manual and I will look tomorrow when I am off work.

What time on Monday?

 

Was hopping to leave here around 10am but that can be adjusted if need be. Don't want to leave later than 1pm though.

 

I don't get off work till 3. Otherwise I could go. I have installed a few hardtops now.

why don't you post in the SA section and see if a local can help you out there.

Shoot, I could totally help you with this as I just picked up a hardtop recently and switched all of the hardware over as well. Unfortunately, I can't do Tuesday/Wednesday. If it gets pushed back to next Saturday, I'd be more than happy to head over that way with you.
