Default My S is Making Me Want An NSX

My S is the first Japanese car that I have owned....always had 'Merican cars up to this point. While I've always liked the NSX, I never really paid too much attention to them, however, since getting my S it seems my interest in NSXs has gone off the charts. No real point to this post then to say I will have me an NSX one day.

the NSX is extremely dated platform and the aftermarket is still through the roof in my opinion. just to put springs on the car you have to drop the subframe i like the NSX but, for the money there is a lot more capable platforms though they don't have the kind of fanboy-neckbreak appeal that the NSX has.

what is it about the NSX that piques your interest?

deleted the other thread lol

I love it, but the S to me is a much better platform to build on.

You'd be surprised if you get the chance to drive one you may appreciate your s more. There was some serious engineering that went into the s,much of which came from the nsx and formula racing in general. The one I drive made me want one and then when I got my s it satisfied that desire. They have a similar feel at least in my opinion. Still a sweet ride but I prefer my s.

Aesthetically I think the NSX is gorgeous, both na1 na2.
Can't speak much on their performance/reliability aspect though as I have never owned one.

the thing is about the nsx is that its rare and holds value like no other , you can drive it for 3 years plus and still get the same money you paid for it and it will never rust lol since the is nsx all-aluminum, its not a gtr its not straight line fast either, but its has one thing going for it its dammm fun and rare, ive had both the nsx and ap2 , and the nsx imo drives and handles much bettter, esp on corners, and looks you cant even compare the two, its not fat and or ugly, nsx values are going up actually as they are harder to find, the aftermarket side is alot price wise and value wise, how many nsx's do you even see on the roads, but a supercharged nsx is plenty fast and very reliable on low boost 6psi, the turbos ones are very fast,in a year ill be looking to my second nsx(maybe) or supra tt, that would double as my daily driver,i thought about getting another s2k but i just dont wanna deal with thief, sure its cheaper and easier to mod, but the long run return is i would lose on it value wise.i test drove the gtr bc it was a lil cheaper than my nsx, its fast and the inside is nice but it wasnt for me however, i test drove my nsx and i fell in love, plus imo it fits me better. plus im a honda fanboy lol ,i looked around for like a year before i saw a nice low mileage blk/blk fixed headlight version. nsx maintenace is pretty cheap also compared to other higher end sports cars

heres my 04 nsx t, honda made 200 hand built nsx's a year from 02 to 05 so 800 ever that are the full oem version like mines. some people like the pop ups and some like the modern fixed headlights i like em both.

i say drive it and see if its for you, im always on s2ki tryna find a nice ap1 but i wanted a low mileage blk ap1 this time or to find mugen wheels lol. reflecting back i like the look of the ap1 front and rear i never liked certain angles of the ap2 front or the ap2 rear lol, i personally like ap1 front with ap2 headlights and ap1 rear with single exhaust lol , the later ap2 i dont like the drls in the headlights, im weird like that

benn 0, what you mean you have to drop the subframe to install springs, its pretty straight forward like the s2000 install wise
