Default Moving back to Houston after 6 years.

Hey guys, I recently decided to move back to houston after bouncing around the country over the last six years and i realized that i don't know what going on in Houston as much anymore so Im looking to meet some new folks and and fellow S's. I will be living in spring and working out of hooks airport. Im taking a few months off from work to complete flight school. I have an 05 bb which at the moment is sitting at InlinePro in pieces. lol Ive been overseas doing the whole contractor thing for the govt. so i havent seen or driven my S since october of last year. With that being said i am very excited to go back home and drive her again. I will be back in july/early august. Anyways, I look forward to meeting some of you and enjoy my city once again.

Thanks! It should be done in the next three weeks or so. They just finished installing the F24 stroker and the drivetrain, I believe the Boost kit and suspension will be going in this week or next. Then it will go back to houston straight into the body shop so Im pretty stoked to see how it turns out.

Thank you and I will be seeing you all at some of the meets and events.

As far what inlinePro is doing: F24 Stroker on their signature short block. The back story on that is, while i was away my family drove my car on a rainy day and water got sucked into the intake. Seized up the motor and blew a golf ball size hole through the side of the block with the piston rod so yea. lol Also, stage 2 race kit w/ BW s366. We are shooting for 500-550whp and tq wise I'm not sure yet. With all that we went ahead and installed tein flex's and i will be upgrading the breaks once i get stateside. At the moment the rotors are drilled and slotted but i think it would be a great idea to upgrade the whole system. It will be going from their shop straight to the body shop in houston and that ill be all i do to it for a little while. lol

With a s366 I think you'll be making a lot more power than 500-550. A local member is making 546 with a 6262 on e85. At conservative boost no less.

Can't wait to see always nice to have heavy hitters back in Houston

And that is on stock internals. What compression ratio is the F24? Sounds like it' s gonna be a beast!!

Those are great results. I have also been seeing some folks with a s366 on stock internals and stock head running low 500's so i believe you're right about that.

Well since the block had to be replaced we just went ahead and rebuilt the head with their 2.5 head just to be safe and to avoid any issues down the road so dual valve spring and valve job along with bronze guides, high hp valves. everything from block to the head studs has been replaced. Ill post up a list and some pics once i get some more time at work. don't quote me cause i can't remember right off the top of my head but compression is 12.5:1 with mahle pistons and inlinepro head gasket. Im not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to terminology and such so yea. lol I built jet engines but have a harder time with cars, not sure how that works. Like i stated before, it needs a little bit of body work so that will be the last step right before i get stateside.

Heres an idea of the damage before the engine and everything else was taken out.
