Do you want a drive or a place to end up at?
For a drive, just pick some town and then plan the route that would be fun to drive. A place like Fayetteville or Brenham, then just pick back roads to get there, stay for lunch and then a different route back.
Now for Kemah, you could start on the southwest side of town and then head SE towards Rosharon and then either south to Angleton or east to Kemah.
Just try to stay off of highways and on back roads. You will run into some traffic along any route, but it can be fun.
If it is on a Sunday, count me in, a Saturday will depend on work.

I know some twisty back roads up to conroe. They are not the best roads (some pot holes) but they are a blast to drive. I vote somewhere up on the north side.
