May 18th, Track Day @ Grandsport Speedway
A buddy and I are trying to coordinate a track day at Grandsport Speedway in Hitchcock TX. If we get enough people, we're able to get a pretty big discount ($375 down to $175 for Beginners). We'll be heading to the track on May 18th.
We currently have 4 cars for sure, but we need 5 or more to try and negotiate a discount:
350z
S2000
GTO
Lancer
Anybody else interested in going?

College Station is too far of a drive? Your profile says NW Houston? Mine too and it is just 45 minutes from my house to the track. It does not get much closer than that. You live is Houston, EVERYTHING is a drive, but you have EVERYTHING. In Austin, they will not drive 15 minutes.
Grandsport is 70 miles from my house, TWS is 60 miles away.
So I guess you are talking a Groove Union event on the 18th? The way I read it, it is 349 for the Novice run group. That is 349 per day. Most other groups run two day events, Sat and Sun for about 300. That is twice the track time, for a lower cost.
I would be willing to do a single day event, but even at 175 it is costly but do able. The 18th is not a good weekend at all because of the Other events already scheduled. To pull together 10 you are going to need to allow for more lead time. less than 30 days is not enough time.
