Well I actaully got around changing all my fluids today and finally put in the LE607 for the diff. The fluid was quite thick compared to Mobile 1 75w-90 or Valvoline SynPower 75w-90. The first thing that surprised me about the gear oil was the color, it was darkish ruby red, like blood. Another weird charcteristic about this fluid is its very "gooey".

After a test drive, I didn't notice anything different with the car's behavior, which is a good thing considering how thick it is. Only thing that concerned me about a thicker gear oil is that it could be detrimental to performance (acceleration), but so far errythangs good. I'll probably send this is for an oil anaylsis when it's time to change out to see how it sizes up with Mobile 1 75w-90.

What's your impression after driving around with it for a few days?

Can't tell the diff from anything. However, I did a rouge diff temperature test. I touched the diff after a drive and it wasn't as hot as when I did that with the Mobile 1 fill.

wow that's a big temp drop. I don't have any accurate readings, but I'm sure the diff is running a few degrees cooler since it wasn't as hot to the touch as it was with my old mobile one fill.
