I got the dws and they have very good wet performance and very quiet. Sumitommo are cheap and the tire wear is too soft for my daily driving. I had to change them out in less than a year.

I have about 3k miles on my DW and about 60 miles was put on Grandsport Speedway. The tire is still quiet and running great.

I'm running on BFG g-force sport at the moment for longevity. I don't recommend this tire for wet conditions. While dry conditions, it's very good. I prefer Dunlop Direzzas as mentioned earlier. I think that tire has great wet/dry grip but it wears too fast for my driving. The BFG's are the cheaper of the two, but the Dunlops are a great buy for the price/grip.

Running RS3s on the S2000. About to get a second set. Awesome grip in hot, dry weather but a bit nerve wracking driving through standing water like in a thunderstorm.
I have Michelin Pilot Supersports on my wife's STI and I dont think you will find a better tire out there. They are a bit costly upfront but when you factor everything in they are a hell of a bargain. The dry grip is almost as good as the RS3s, way more predictable, rain doesnt affect them much and they can take really big puddles, they last a really long time and have a 30k warranty. Discount just got mine replaced cause 1 was loosing air and they were too worn to last 30k. i ended up paying 230 bucks for a brand new pair of tires. unless you drive like my grandmather they wont last 30k and you will get them replaced for free or almost free. for a staggered setup the warranty might be a little different though.

I'm on my second consecutive set of HTR ZIII's. I was able to get about 18K miles out of the rears on my first set. I will admit though, at about 16K they were getting a little squirrely in the rain under "spirited" cornering. They are very quiet and for the price they're hard to beat. I went to a track weekend in June and the instructor commented that he was surprised that the tires held that much grip not having a reputation for being a track tire (non r-comp) like the star specs. I might add the instructor daily drives a S2K and tracks his spec miata so he is familiar with our cars.
