My rear tires are at the wear bars, and I need to start looking for replacements. I've got stock AP2V2 wheels. What are you guys currently using?

Looking on TireRack, the Sumitomo HTR ZIII are $115 and seem to have a pretty good rating. Thoughts?

I'm running Dunlop Direzza Star Specs and have also used Falken Azenis 615s, but my car gets used mostly for autocross. Tons of grip!

Sumitomo's are fine for just daily driving. I bought the htr zII's just for test fitting but i'll wear these out before i buy another set of tires lol.

Just want to add something when you purchase tires. If you go to discount tires, depending on where you go, you can actually negotiate a price.
I live in San Antonio now the last time I changed out all four tires on my 4Runner and manage to get a deal of buy 3 get one free. The individual tire price they gave me was the same as tirerack online price
It really depends on who you talk to though

I had a good experience with the Continental DW (not DWS) on my RSX. Very quiet with very good wet performance. Ugly and slightly soft sidewalls, though. Very inexpensive, too.

Star Specs.

I'd recommend asking "Why?" and not just "What?". And don't overlook Wheels & Tires.

I'd rather use Tire Rack & C&C. To each his own though.

Rs-3 are cheap performance tires. star specs are right above it but are a little more expensive. Both perform about the same.
