I will call them tomorrow to verify this. Maybe I wasnt clear when I talked to them on the phone when I was asking about getting my car tuned.
This is good information guys! With the amount of shops in our local area I believe this will be a very helpfull thread.

T1 is no longer tuning cars other than GTR's.

That's crazy. I just asked Tony about it in person and he said otherwise. He still does the tunes on my s2000 when its running or he damn well better lol

Now that we have some post's in here I guess its my turn. My experience isnt pretty so I will try to break it down easy.
Inline racing experience with my nitrous b18 civic:
-took 8 months to fabricate exhaust manifold after being paid in full up front.
-did an under par job at wiring my nitrous kit (birds nest).
-gave my car back to me with a HUGE scratch and paint peel on my bumper and didnt want to fix it (he did eventuallly have it fixed).
-was impossible to get ahold of.
-after having new injectors put in, my car caught on fire later that week. Turns out only one of the three nuts were put back on the fuel rail.
In the mean time with my bro's turbo b18 civic:
-took two years to put a simple turbo kit on his car after being paid in full.
-welds crack on the kit left and right.
-treated his car like a tool tray while it was in the shop.
-parts came up missing, or stolen from the shop.
-car melted a piston within a couple hundred of miles of regualar driving.
For some good feedback..
T1 Race Development: After we rebuilt his hatch
-Tony tuned it. took half a day as he did a very good job.
-drove the shit out of the car for 15k weekend miles of very spirited driving and still running great!
Dont let this discourage anyone going to ILR. I am just puting facts in here just as I hope you do. Lets keep the thread full of facts so that we can decide of tuners for our selves.
Please dont think I made this thread just to bash on ILR. This happend 3 years ago. I could of made this thread a long time ago but never wanted to be "that guy". I just love the S2000 and cars in general so much that I want to make my car the best to its potential (and want the same for others).

Guys, if you dont feel comfortable with something about a shop, then go with your gut feeling! Dont rush your project! and when its time to move on from a shop, THE SOONER THE BETTER!

I think there is a difference between a Tuner (someone that can tune your car) and a shop (someone that installed, modifies or uninstalls). Both are skills and they are different skills. IMHO ILP can tune a car, and do that well. I have no personal experience with their work in my car. I have however seen some of their mechanical work, I would agree that ILP is not a shop I would use for my mechanical work.
