Saturday night we were talking about a way to keep a speeding ticket from effecting your insurance rates. Other than defensive driving, deferred ajudification and contesting in court, Joe said he heard that you could pay your ticket one day past the due date and it would somehow be classified differently and not show up on your driving record.
Has anyone ever tried this and did it work? Are there any other suggestions?
I used to do this all the time. The ticket will go to warrant and will not appear to your insurance company. Even the cops in the cars can't see them. It cost $150 per ticket but it can save you some sick cash with insurance. Just be sure that you get in and pay the warrant before you get stopped again.
