Hot Knob
Damn that shifter knob gets hot. I could barely touch it to shift gears on the way home. The worst part is it stays that way for a bit. I may need to pick up a 2002 shifter knob.

Or you could get a leather knob condom.
I keep a washcloth in the car and use it to cover the knob while parked. If still hot I use it to shift until it cools down a little bit.

The fake ARC titanium knob is pleasantly cool to the touch this hot spring. 
Both the 2000 shift knobs got real hot during the summer months. I guess summer #3, in the S, will be better than the previous ones.

joe is right, only thing is that the 2002 has the leather around it, so you can hold the shifter in an "OK" manner until it cools down a bit. whatever you want tho

You are a bunch of weenies. If you had grown up in the colder parts of the world, you would know to endure... uhm, enjoy the warm weather without complaining.
