hardtop stolen....montrose area
#11
I have one on the driver side. It prevents the button from being pressed while locked. Had some fitment issues, so I had to send it back (button wouldn't fit on the latch), and getting the key is a bit of a tight fit when it's installed, but it'll keep people from getting the top off.

I have been using these for a few years now. They look like an OEM part and work great!
It's not clear in their photos, but the key hole is a bit recessed on OEM hardtops due to the headliner. I contacted them about the problem since I could not insert the provided key with the headliner in the way, and they sent me "modded" keys to address the problem. The modded keys are garbage so I ended up modding my own. Aside from this problem, I really like the product.
Without OEM headliner (photo courtesy of Fastline Performance) - this obviously isn't even a hardtop so clearance isn't an issue:
With OEM headliner:
Keys advertised on their site(photo courtesy of Fastline Performance):
Keys I received (two on the left) and my own modded key (far right):

Get the hardtop locks from fast line next time. I'm getting that and the kodokan seat locks.

Fastline hardtop locks. Kodokan seat locks are a must. I have the V1.5 Alloycraft hard top, they work well. After I removed the hardtop, I had put OEM ones back on though.

i keep trying to get in contact with the seat lock guy and he never responds ;/

i just installed the fastline locks, overall they are pretty good but with the washers installed the button is hard to press down on once opened. also like previously mentioned it is hard to open the lock without scraping the headliner even with the modded keys. they also included some custom screws for the rear catchers which i have not yet installed, i do not see how those would actually secure the hardtop though other than preventing someone from taking the rear catchers. regardless it seems like a good investment, good build quality overall.
