give me a synopsis on vietfood joints mid/downtown
sorry crackas i just cant trust your yelp reviews
today i went to:
Huynh - downtown - nice decor, overpriced (9$ for large pho which is sized of most's standard), few pieces of meat, noodle had no bite, they even skimped on the vegetables and had no razorleaf lettuce at all
Thien An - midtown - bought a few sandwiches, no dish. sandwiches 3$ a piece... but really good with warm toasty bread
Les Givral midtown - this is the place ive always gone when im in midtown.. very mediocre sandwiches
someone fill me in on the rest?

you're only 15 minutes from Bellaire. Most of us live farther away, so I don't know whatcha whining about
All the good pho, banh cuon, and banh mi shops moved out of Midtown to Bellaire about 15-20 years ago.
