Hi i'm trying to put spoiler and found out that i will have to change the stronger spring. so i'm looking for that springs. so if anyone that u know have one please let me know.
then in order to chage that spring i might need the right tool. so if anyone want to sell it or let me use it that would be nice. thanks

I added my lip spoiler without ever changing the springs and I haven't had any problems with it. The trunk feels slightly heavier.

really? didn't have any problems? did u drill holes or jst 3m tape? how hard was it? thanks.

drilled the 2 holes on the furthest edges of the lip and added tape in between. I'm actually going to remove the tape and drill the 2 in the middle.

Don't forget to buy touch up paint. I'm going to add it this time around to prevent rust. I've had the spoiler on for 2 yrs without any problems. I didn't see it being worth the money to add springs. Maybe someone else can chime in.

i think the springs help you to pop the trunk better....it would still work without the springs but when you pop your trunk, it barely goes up.

if you come to one of the meets, you'll see that my trunk opens/closes without failure. It might not swing up like APhap2 mentioned as readily as it would normally but it's not jacked up either.
