Coilover install Shop
#23
WOW a shop told you $675 for a coil over install?! that's ridiculous ... coil over install, especially on the s2000, is real basic. I'm sure plenty of people on here can help you out

Probably it depends on what you are looking for?
I mean, if you just want to slam and have the "whatever style" alignment then you can do it at home.
If you want a (thus easy) professional installation to your needs (maybe you track the car?) + a precise alignment + some guarantees that if something is wrong you just call them up, then I would (did) go to Curt's.
Just my opinion, for sure if I had a garage and an afternoon I would have liked to try to install them myself.
Cheers

the alignment is all you really need from Curt's other than that just spend an afternoon tweaking the ride height to your liking. driving after a coil install with no alignment for 30 mins (assuming how far you live) is not going to shred up your tires.
675 is just to much to ask... imo.

thats what I was gonna do anyways because i want the best alignment and he is recommended by everyone. even though i havent had the chance to track the car because i need to slowly buy several components that i need first one of them being the coilovers, but the mnost important is that the clutch is at the end of its life and wouldnt stand a chance if i tracked it. currently a student so it takes a while to save on a university stipend.
