i doubt it was done on purpose. i work in alief - in chinatown.
the amount of ignorant people i see on a daily basis is really astounding. the majority people that come into my bank just seem oblivious to what's going on around them. for example, the emergency exit door has about 7 bright orange signs on it saying "STOP EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY" in big letters, they're even taped across the handle to the door, and still people will open it and walk out ... setting off the alarm. then they still have to ask why the alarm was set off ?!?!?!!?! gee, i guess the 7 bright orange signs are not enough warning.
im betting the guy who hit my car was probably one of "these people"
when i was talking to the guy that was fixing my car we looked at how it probably happened. the person was backing out and had thier wheels cut too much and hit the rearview mirror, folding it in and scuffing it a little. then it looks like they started to correct and tried it twice more leaving the 2 creases in the door. im pretty sure it was the truck i parked next to when i came back from lunch- an old work truck with a steel metal bumper.
he was probably thinking hey there wasnt a car there when i went into the bank, there couldnt possible be one there now! no point in looking just in case. nobody would park in an empty space!
