Do you have a proximity sensor? Check the wiring, or to be more specific the ground for the prox. Someone I know had this problem when his ground wire was not properly ground.

Yeah, that's a question I'd answer if I were him!

The last aftermarket alarm system I had on a vehicle went through a period of time when it would, not false alarm, but, "disarm and unlock itself for no apparent reason!!!"

I know this because I was in the garage, changing oil on my motorcycle and the remote was on the table in the living room, when it went, "beep beep". I looked and the interior lights were on and the doors were unlocked. This also happened a couple of times at 1 to 2 am in the morning. I sometimes go to bed late and the driveway is right outside my bedroom window! I took it to the alarm company that installed it and they, not knowing what else to do (they'd never seen this before!), unplugged the alarm brain and let it reset, then reprogrammed. I didn't have any other problems after that.

Fly_S2k makes a good point. Wiring, and especially something as simple as a loose ground wire, could be your only problem. The hard part will be "finding" it!.

Then again, it might just need a simple adjustment.

Good luck!

Steve R.
