With the money I've spent so far, not enough even for the 245-hp JDM K20 motor for the Atom. I'll let you know when I hit that point

Trust me...I've played this scenario in my head over and over and over again...

but at the time, Ariel Atom MkII with the Honda motor configuration were going for $55-60k new.

The new Ariel Atom MkIII (also Honda-powered) price has been lowered to $49k (due to piss-poor demand and recession). I'm going to have to give this some serious thought. I know a Honda mechanic in Houston who has an S600 who would love to buy mine for $10k. If I can make that happen and get Luder94 to buy my Mugen S for $40k...maybe?

On the car:
Mugen MF-10 wheels/centercap/lugnuts, Mugen brake rotors/brakelines, Mugen radiator, Mugen dry-carbon half-bumper/undertray, Mugen CF hood/hardtop, Mugen CFRF rear bumper, Mugen S1 seat/rails, Mugen 4-pt rollbar, Mugen header/exhaust/ECU/cooling mods, Mugen coilovers/sways, Mugen clutch, Mugen/ASM multivision meter, ASM intake/radiator plate, Craftsquare mirrors, Spoon radiator hoses, JDM headlights, J's ETD, Toda flywheel.

spares:
Mugen 3-pc wing, Mugen steering wheel, extra Mugen seat, ASM CF fenders, extra motor, J's heatshield, a bunch of OEM crap...

I'm pretty sure I forgot some other stuff that's on the car as well as spares. I have a bad habit and buying shit and throwing it away in a corner/attic collecting dust. Most of my spares are located in 4 different locations and I'm pretty sure I've lost track of them by now

To complete my car Mugen-wise, I just need a Mugen limited-slip differential (useful due to my hilly driveway), Mugen steering boss, a Mugen seat-rail, and maybe an uber-rare Mugen version1 intake to replace the ASM one. Still debating about doing the ASM fenders/rearovers...I would need new wheels...thought about those stupid-expensive rebarreled Mugen M7s...I think I would rather get an Atom instead

naw, it's just time. I bought Mugen rotors in 2004. I just installed it a few weeks ago (waiting for my oem rotors to wear away). Found it while clearing away the attic
