if my savings (even checking) ever dip under X amount, i get aggitated and feel broke... sure, i can go all out on my car right now, but naw...
besides, with the luck i have had with s2ks, im kinda scared to dump more money...

I never get aggitated nor broke because my x number hasn't been even close in the last 5/6 years. If you keep putting money in savings then why would you have to worry. Spending account is different. Its meant to spend and if you have a little left over then why not. Its already budgeted for. Can't take money to the grave with you. Dump more money? You bought replacement seats sucka.

well, thats what i've been doing... stopped the past few months due to friend's needing help... but picking it up again!
my main reason for the money saved is for down payment for house... after hearing how much you put down, and still owe, i was like

Yep, its a lot of money. I owed 156.00 in interest for guess what? 3 days!!!!
That's another reason why I'm holding off on the new car. Glad, I had extra saved up on top of the down payment money. I'd be in a nice bind right now if not.
