those are obviously ROTAS...I would rock a pair of Rotas. I don't see the big deal. Find me a set with the right offsets and I'd buy them.
Alex has the pic of just the center of the wheel left on the hub. I would not rock inferior wheels for that particular reason. Scary stuff!!!

When I was shopping for a new car, I had to have a convertible. If it wasn't for that factor, I'd probably have bought a 350Z or G35. The EVO and STI were just not the "look" I wanted at the time. But now, my taste of shifted to a Lexus GS. Thanks to Alex, I no longer plan on buying a Subaru.
, I've been looking at new GS, Corvette c5 zo6, c6, and 996 porsches for the past few days or so. I think the gs is probably going to fit the mold for me.

for track purpose i agree with you.

but, for daily cruisin' they are more then up to par for the task...

the way i look at (referencing the rotas on H-I ) if you are close to stock power which is 200 to our wheels maybe less. than rotas are perfectly acceptable...

I've also seen Works and Rays wheels that got mangled...User Error...
Rotas on the track are very capable. I've seen it with my own eyes. Believe all the hype but if you see a set of Rotas that look like Volks and have safe s2k offsets...holler

Wheels don't break by themselves...you might have seen broken Rotas but I've seen track cars run them without any problems. I'm going to go with what I saw and experienced until I'm shown otherwise. School me and I will be grateful.

yes but, i believe that is error due to drivers. maybe its is the rim. for me pushing barely 180 hp to the wheels it seem highly unlikely that the wheels would fail.

due the wheels fail due to offset issue, camber maybe? i want to know a whole story cuz it seems a bit wack that rims can get to 2200 dollars and more. the same rims that have a assembly line making them.

if i wanted good track rims i would most likely looking into a RPF1's or if i was a baller CCW track classics.
