Actually, if you draw a line from the eastern border of Texas to the Western border of Texas, San Antonio is right about in the middle of that line. We're also about the same distance from the southern tip of Texas near Brownsville as we are to the Oklahoma border. Doesn't get much more "Central" than that. I'm not counting the panhandle, of course, but that's hard to bring into the equation.

panhandle is junk ill agree... its just suprising how the austin s2k owners arnt all over this forum... there closer to me i hate having to drive to lampassas to what is it 281 that rolls into sa...
