"The area"? Texas is a big state. You'll have to be much more specific.

I'm in Plano every week for work and I fly in from Chicago. I find this place to be a total drag. But, if you're old enough for a drink, The Shops at Legacy (Plano, TX) seem to have a semi-youthful crowd almost any night of the week. There's an British-ish pub in there called Ringo's. It's a weird to have a Brit joint in Texas, but whatever.

If you're looking for a decent greasy burger, try out JC's Burger House. It's at the southeast corner of 121 and Preston, near the Quizno's (I think). For trendy/over priced sushi, try Naan. This is in the Shops at Legacy in Plano. And if you're up for a drive, head down to Uptown/Highland Park/University Park. The eye candy gets a lot better. Plus, there's a dumpy Tex Mex joint called Mia's that has decent margaritas and worthwhile salsa.

Personally, I actually enjoyed downtown Fort Worth a LOT more than anything in this area.

thanks rahul. this sucks then cause im 20. lol totally killed everything i wanted to do while im here. eye candy is a def plus, ill look into those places. ill give me some things to do as im here till next tuesday with the family
