Synthetic Oil?
I'm thinking to switch to Synthetic Oil when it comes to my first oil change. Is it really a lot better than Conventional? anyway recommendation on the oil filter? hehe

Do some reading there...
The general consensus is that any modern oil will protect your engine just fine. Synthetic will allow you to go to longer change intervals and possibly provide some better lower temperature protection.
The best thing to do is change the oil frequently and monitor your engine wear with used oil analysis (do a search for Blackstone Labs online for more info on that).
