Slight Rattle Noise (SA)
I have a slight rattle/buzz that is present when my engine is running. These sounds are hard to write and communicate but here it goes (btw, Oil level is good):
When I start the car it is a "semi loud" 2-4 second rattle sound that goes away after the fact.
I can here a "buzz" when I engine brake around 3-4K RPMs.
There is a slight buzz/rattle when I am idling, but it goes away when clutch is depressed.
Completely undetectable at highway speeds and at acceleration.
Anyway, I have found that Gillman is cheapest at scheduled maintenance and that Gunn is much better at warranty issues. Who would you suggest I go to?

From just the little information that you have communicated, its sounds like possibly one of the motor mounts may be torn, I would go for Gunn if they are better at warranty issues.

Since your S is a newer model, it may already have the upgraded clutch disc?

Doesn't necessarily mean he can't still have the problem, though.... I had a bad 2nd gear grind at high rpm on my first S2000 (an '02 model, supposedly outside of the TSB range for the 2nd gear grind problem). It took a lot of fighting and finally had to 'demonstrate' it to Gunn Honda, but they tore it down and rebuilt the tranny and it was great after they replaced the 2nd gearset.
Unfortunately you waited until 37k to bring this up, the dealership is going to tell you that you're on your own because you're outside of the warranty. Should have done it 2500 miles ago.
