Default (SAT) Small cut in top, need repair

I put my top up this morning and saw daylight. There is a very clean cut/tear about 3/4 of an inch long. No fraying either. Anyone know of a good place to have this repaired before it gets bigger?

www.drvinyl.com

He came to me and fixed it on the spot. I am satisfied with the results. No visible patch from the outside and the inside patch is heavy duty...like plastic. $80. He was reccommended to me by a top installation shop.

He mentioned that he has seen tops for years and there is a visible defect in the way our tops are made. The cross bar close to the rear window rubs a spot inside and works its way out. Said a top should last around 7 years. This is my SECOND top on my 2003. He also mentioned it was one of the "thinnest" materials he has seen in a top...also not good.

I just got some iron on patches and all purpose waterproof goop/glue and patched the inside of my miata myself. 5 bucks and it doesn't leak, of course this is my 14 year old beater/daily driver.
