All those interested in attending an autocross or interested in autocrossing, the San Antonio Sports Car Association is having its fourth points event on Sunday, April 10 at the parking lot of the Verizon Amphitheatre in Selma, north of San Antonio.

The Verizon amphitheatre is SASCA's latest venue location. It is a much bigger lot than their previous lot at the Alamodome. The Verizon Amphitheatre is at 16765 Lookout Road, Selma, TX 78154. ( in back of the Retama greyhound racetrack off of IH35).

The actual registration starts at 8:00 am and goes to 9:00. The late registration (an extra $5) from 9:00 to 9:30am. You have to have your car tech inspected during the registration period. Then, the novice walkthrough of the course is at 9:40 with lots of tips from the Novice chief. There are about at least 20 novices or more that come each time. The driver's meeting is at 10:00 and the first cars are out on course at 10:30. It usually ends around 4:00 pm.

You can preregister on DLBracing. com or just show up. The fee is $25 or $20 for members. (membership is $20 annually) Membership is not required at all.

Thanks for the great plug Alex. I hope to see all of you guys out there. Ricky and I are always there to lend a hand to any novices. There is a Novice Handbook on our site ( SASCA ) that gives some tips for your first autocross. Bring sunscreen and I will see everyone at the event.
