San Antonio Range Day

San Antonio Range Day
I know we've talked about it in the past, but it's finally time to actually make it happen. After having some discussions in Fredericksburg last night about guns, I've decided to set a date/time for an S2000 range day.
When: Sunday, December 28, 2008 @ 11:00am
Where: "A Place to Shoot" 13250 Pleasanton Road, San Antonio, Texas 78221 (Yes, it's on the far south side of town -- get over it, it's not a bad area, and you're not going to get shot at -- it's one of the better ranges for the price @ $10/person). Their website is http://www.aplacetoshoot.com/
I will have a couple of 9mm handguns out there as well as my .40 caliber Glock 27. If you don't have a gun, bring your own 9mm ammo (Preferably a name brand such as Winchester white box or UMC ammo, please -- NO reloads) and I'll let you shoot my 9mm CZ 75 style gun. They also have a lot of different guns you can rent for about $15 each. My friend Rodger and I can help teach any newbies proper techniques for safety, holding the gun, posture, sighting in the target, trigger pull, etc.
I will probably also bring my M4...but who knows if I'll actually shoot it or not, since I'd need to go get a table on the rifle range to shoot it. I don't plan on doing a drive or anything after going to the range, so I probably won't even be driving my S2000 (I can't really carry the M4 in the S2000 very well).
See you guys out there!!
