Wow, you really don't know your "victims," do you? Chris S is one of the fastest, most talented drivers I've ever been on the road OR the track with (he drives with the most advanced group on the track), and RavynX is improving so quickly that he got bumped up from novice to blue by lunch on his first track day.

Talk is cheap. I'd like to see you try to keep up with Chris at the track!

Where have you been hiding out?

 

I just ordered Hawk HP+ pads Front & Rear, Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines, and ATE Super Blue from the Sponsors section. s2ki rocks! Yesterday I ordered Speed Bleeders and Amsoil tranny & engine oil. I've been using Royal Purple in the tranny on all of my other cars, going to give Amsoil a try. Oil is already here and speed bleeders should be in tomorrow. The rest will arrive Tuesday.

Scheduling an alignment at Gil's Tire soon and hopefully getting Tech Inspected in Austin before Happy Hour. Fun week to come!

 

Hey guys I am new to this;

I registered already but I havent recieved the checklist for inspection how can I grab hold of one???????

Also where do you recomend I buy a helmet, any places in san antonio?

 

I'll ask Sondra if I can post the checklist on the boards here. I picked up my helmet at Alamo Cycleplex on I10 & De Zavala. There's a Simpson Performance shop near New Braunfels I believe. Hisham (GateCrasher) picked up an open face helmet for pretty cheap; you can ask him. I think he bought his online though. I picked up a full motorcycle helmet in case I ever got a sport bike in the future. Motorcycle helmets are not really recommended for tracks though as they're made to impact once, not multiple times on say... a roll cage or the internals of your car. My helmet was hitting the rollcage in a friend's miata at the last autocross.
