S2KCA Track Day - Nov 14th - Harris Hill Road

Hisham, I'm glad to see you're going to join us @ the DE!
Chris L. covered most everything you need to know, though I don't worry about gas too much - last DE, I made it to and from the track on a full tank! (90 miles round trip, 100 miles on track, 17.2 mpg avg.)
Just make sure that you have your inspection signed off, and do whatever else Sondra tells you to do , and we can help you w/ the rest. Just be ready to have a great time, and learn a lot about just what your S2000 is capable of.
I heard a rumor that we're having fajitas for lunch this time!

- A full tank of gas at the track. Drive up, fill up, then hit the track. I got 9 mpg when I was on the track. Track is 1.8 miles, sessions are 20 minutes so about 10-12 laps? That's roughly 80 miles or 8.88 gallons.
More miles & gallons used if you make more laps of course.

Well, that was in your Miata though, right?
Ironically, my prior '99 Miata sucked it down a lot faster at the track. I usually had to go top off my tank around lunch to avoid fuel starvation at the bottom of Santa Rita.

I would like to go; however... they require roll cage according to website and its highlighted in yellow...
Convertibles MUST have factory roll protection or aftermarket rollbars installed in order to participate; please ask before registering if you have questions!
The S2000 is equipped with rollbars from the factory. Those are the hoops that are behind your seats. There is a metal roll hoop hidden under the plastic hoop.
