S2KCA Track Day - Nov 14th - Harris Hill Road
#91
I talked with Sondra and she just sent out an e-mail to everyone registered so everyone should have the tech sheet and a checklist of items to bring to the track in their e-mail. Check your Spam folder if you haven't gotten anything yet.
Let me know if you guys find anyone local in SA that will tech inspect.

20% chance of rain on Saturday. Pray to the rain gods that it holds off for us!
- Engine and Transmission fluid changed out last night.
- Still need the tech inspection
- Brake pads, SS lines, and fluid ship in on Wednesday
Notice: I'll be preparing a short presentation that was similar to the presentation that Sondra & others did up in Austin when I went for my first track day. It'll be info on what to expect, rules for the track, procedures, do's & dont's, and a checklist of needed and should-bring things. Date & Place to be determined; Hisham volunteered his place but we'll have more on that soon.

Hisham (GateCrasher) picked up an open face helmet for pretty cheap; you can ask him.
I will be picking up full face helmet for the track that meets the SNELL M requirements, tonight or tomorrow. Let me know I can meet up at Alamo Cycle Plex.

Might get some pizza and make a night out of it.
If you are interested please let either Chris or I know so we can prepare accordingly. If its a big group I can ask to use the guest house at my apartment complex.
So far:
Adolpho (Mr280Z)
Chris (RayvnX)
Hisham (Gatecrasher)

Alamo Cycle Plex has 10% off helmets. Just picked up a HJC CL16, came with anti-fog screen insert for free.
I will admit I like the open face helmets more. I guess the full face will take some getting used to. I feel like a storm trooper...

I wear full face helmets on motorcycles, but open face is much more comfortable in a car, esp. during the summer.
