S2KCA Track Day - Nov 14th - Harris Hill Road
Hey all, I know most of you are doing the Hill Country Run on the 14th but just thought I'd throw out a thread for those of us attending the H2R Track Day event. It was scheduled for Nov 14-15th but has been condensed down to Nov 14th only.
There's only going to be 50 cars allowed so it might fill up quick. Also there's a possibility that they will require roll-cages in convertibles soon so this might be one of your last chances to drive out there with your S without a roll-cage.
Registration: http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/eve...772B4FF2A0350D8
SK2CA Members: $155
Non-S2KCA Members: $170
If it's too much for you... don't go; or come out to watch the action and bring a helmet for a possible ride-along. I had a blast when I went back in April and I'm definitely going back; I felt like I got my money's worth out of it. Last time we got four 20-minute sessions, lunch, and an instructor. My instructor helped out a lot and I ended up moving from the Green (new) group to the Blue group.
This is home for the S2000. If not this time, at least attend one track day later on to see why Honda is so proud of their achievement.
I'm already registered and I'll have my camcorder along for the ride-along.
:: EDIT on Oct 31st ::

Glad to see you registered, Chris!
I'm planning to go as well, just haven't signed up yet. Who else is going?
C'mon, it's cheaper than a speeding ticket + a County Line BBQ lunch!

Are you mad that you wont be able to keep up!
Anyone who's driven w/ me knows I'm not going to be left behind on a Hill Country drive, whether I'm in my Miata or my M3.
I've owned a 480 hp '98 Supra Turbo and a supercharged S2000, and am happy w/ the upgrades I've made since then.

What Im really trying to say is you can talk S*** either way! Some people like a cruise! Others like the Track as for me I dont care! I think that you should have an open mind to almost anything! Respect others and others should respect you! So why talk trash on a cruise when people dont talk trash on your track thing!

Yes Chris and RavynX (the sidekick) your right, I would kill both of you on the street were it takes real stupidity to race. As for on the track your right you would beat me, it's so much easier to just mash the gas pedal to the floor in a straight line!
I don't know where anyone talked trash about your cruise. In fact, I love going on drives, just not through the middle of Austin w/ 40+ people. Hope your event goes well, and that everyone has a good time!
