Round Rock Shop for PPI?
I live in Dallas. I need a shop in the round rock area to perform a pre purchase inspection on a Honda Element I'm looking to purchase. The owner lives near the intersection of Texas 45 Toll and Mopac.
Google shows a shop called automotive specialist. Here is the website.

Is this a reputable shop?
Thanks in advance, Nate.

A lot of the Austin folks swear by that shop... I'm sure they would be fine, although I did have a negative experience about a year ago where they left some suspension bolts loose on my car after an alignment and failed to close off a brake bleeder after replacing my brake fluid.
The shop manager also told me he didn't want my business after that, so I haven't been back.

I have been there a few times, and they are good folks. They diagnosed my ticking noise to be the TCT going out, which I replaced myself since I thought their price was a little steep. (but I also had another shop charge me $200 to back out a stud I stripped, so I guess you will get f'ed in labor costs anywhere)
My roommate had a problem with his focus, he paid the 45 dollar diagnostic fee, they detected the problem and fixed it for free. I'm not sure what exactly the problem was, but it was still pretty cool.
I'd say if there was ever anything that was beyond my ability to learn and fix, I would take it to them before any other shop. They do a lot of s2000's as well.

I just dropped my M3 off there to get new tires mounted/balanced. They've also done a good bit of work on both my Miatas, including supercharger installation on the new one. Their shuttle vehicle is an Element, so they s/b able to provide a good PPI no problem.
Great shop!
