Default Rivercity Raceway on Friday

A bunch of WRX and some others peeps are heading down to Rivercity Raceway this friday. 1/4 mile times only I believe.

We are meeting at the Toys 'R' Us at Lamar/360 (south Austin, Fuddrucker, Trudy's shopping center) @ 6:00.

Be there or be rhombus.

hmm.... I could be convinced to go to this. Any one else care to spectate or try for a 14.0 timeslip?

What is the cost of watching or racing?

Do you need a helmet? Can we go topless? Where exactly is this place?

Should be lots of fun to watch. I'm not willing to drag my car.

When it started getting colder (around 40-50 deg) in Austin, I did 2 runs to see if it would go any faster. Very disappointing... one time was a 5.83, then a 5.82 (not enough room for a 1/4 mile)... I sat and spun the tires for a long time during the launch, and then it really felt like the car was moving faster. My guess is that if I did a burnout or the tires were warmed up, the time would be better.

From I-Club:

"from texasracingscene.com:
"It's 54 miles from my place in S Austin, near Slaughter and Manchaca. Best way to go is I-35S to Hwy 123 exit in San Marcos, take Hwy 123 S to I-10 just N of Seguin, go W on I-10 to exit 597, Santa Clara rd.
TurboTR "

See you guys @ 5:30 at Toys R US. I believe we will be leaving at 6:00 (Maybe 6:15), so try and make it before then."

See ya there, gimme a call @ 947-0288 if you are going
